Studio Visit: Hushed Commotion
Today I am giving all you ladies out there a fun peek into my studio space! Lots of silk, crystals, thread, gold wire and pretty pictures to inspire me ... enjoy!
The Riley Headband in a lovely dish my aunt brought back to me from Venezuela, I love special pieces like that with a story...
A new piece....
I love being surrounded by reminders of all the lives I've touched with my work and all the friend who are there to support me.
This vintage portage hole mirror was a wedding gift my parents received that they never used, so I gave it a home! They love seeing it in my space, and I like the memories attached to it.
Organized!
Inspiration...art nouveau, food, language and fiction!
These are from a fashion illustration calendar (by René Gruau) I had a long time ago, when the year was up, I couldn't bear parting with the images, so I pulled them out and put them on my wall!
A photo my dad took, always a good reminder. (and there are images in the back from my 2012 shoot with Jen Huang!)

Styled Shoot: A southern girl meets Paris
I met Annabella of Annabella Charles Photography through a totally modern and 21st century series of events...Instagram and Twitter!
At this point, I am not evern really sure how it all came about, but basically, I saw her work, fell in love with it... And then over time we became friends! (all my comments and interactions of praise helped!)
We had been hoping to work together for a while now, so when this shoot came together and she needed accessories, I was more than happy to send my stuff down south.
Love the images, love working with Annabella, and excited to share these with you all!
Enjoy!
p.s. check out our awesome feature on StyleMePretty blog!

Wed/Altered: Bridal Showcase
I'm excited to announce a weekend of all things bridal - here in NYC, WedAltered! If you have been wanting to see my stuff all together in one place (new pieces too!), don't miss this showcase.
We have put together a stunning group of wedding dress designers, accessory designers, florists, and more! Many of the designers are not just NYC based, so this is your chance to see gorgeous work from across the country. Our common denominator (other than beautiful work!) is that we all produce our products locally and strive to be eco-minded.
Free to attend. Book your ticket today...there's an oh-so-awesome raffle for ticket holders!
Connect with us on Facebook for news and updates as the event approaches!

2013 Trunkshow at StylesOnB
This past weekend, I hosted a little preview trunk show at StylesOnB for my new 2013 collection. I adore Stacy and the team as StylesOnB, our introduction by Jen Huang was a truly wonderful NY moment for me. Their style and the brides they work with completely compliment my aesthetic, so after a year of happily selling with them (and rad hair cuts), we decided to hold my next Trunk Show there!
With the efforts of the talented Christine of Exquisite Affairs Productions (wedding planner extraordinaire!), Nicole of Nicole Sievers Makeup (makeup genius) and City Sweets (yum!), we brought together brides, industry professionals and friends for an evening of debuts and wedding fun.
Thank you to my friend and incredibly talented photographer, Amber Gress, for these gorgeous images from the event!
I was speechless when I tried the caramel frosted green apple mini cupcakes, delish!!
Stacy doing her thing!
Stacy and Nicole making magic!
Trials!
Love this wall of vintage brides at the StylesOnB Salon....
Tres chic!
The crew!

HC find: Chromatic Gallerie
I recently was introduced to the very talented and inspring Chris of Chromatic Gallerie, let me tell you, she is one incredible lady - with an awesome shoe company!
Chris had struggled with wanting to wear heels for work and for play, but just couldn't find the right fit or height while still being chic, so she came up with Chromatic Gallerie! A full service, customizable shoe company! You can choose:
The Color
The Heel Height
The Width
And shhh, a little bird told me there are some more fun custom options coming soon!
Even better... they are only $88 each! You can't beat that. Plus, for bridal parties, they have a bulk order discount!
Pretty awesome right?! I myself, am very picky about my shoes, if just one little aspect about them is wrong, I won't buy them. These heels have a comfortable round toe, a pretty little heel and just the right amount of shoe cleavage (ladies, you know what I'm talking about!).
So, weather you are getting married and need a pretty and comfy heel (love their baby blue suede heel!), going out on a date, or trying to stay chic in the office, hop on over to Chromatic Gallerie!
Cheers!
